Visiting the Frankfort/Elberta area for the first time and falling in love with it. Scouring the beach at Point Betsie looking for heart-shaped stones (I have a wonderful collection now!). Walking north on the beach at the end of Esch Road heading for that point jutting out into the lake….just a little further, then I’ll turn around…..only to discover that holy cow! I had to walk back….a total of almost 4 miles! Walking my dog behind the cottages early in the morning and seeing the dew sparkling on the spider webs woven on the tall grasses in the meadow. Memories that keep me going during the cold, snowy days of winter, waiting for the day I can get back to Wayfarer.
I was so excited to see a new posting, but for some reason I can’t read the April 11 “Memories” posting!! 😦 anyone know why? (I’m not terribly blog-savvy 🙂 )

dangit, I tried to post a video, which is easy enough to do, but it would not work…
Maybe I’m incorrect but I took it to mean that Iris left it open for us to share our memories, which I did. If that’s not right, my bad!
Joyce
I didn’t think of this, Joyce, but I loved that you posted your memories. I wish others had as well.
