Fox and his grandparents stayed with us when he was 5 years old. Now at the ripe old age of 11, he came back to stay at the Wayfarer for a week. This is what he came up with before they arrived. Don’t you just love his imagination?!

Once upon a time, there were 6 little cabins. They stood like little soldiers looking west.
Once upon a time gliders landed in our meadow…

Then 4 more cabins appeared in the early 1930’s, plus guestrooms in the big house… It must have been a busy place even back then.

I almost wiped it off the table
My Disney friend, Angie from Indiana, and her family stayed at the Wayfarer last week. They are a family of 5, so they booked 2 cottages. 1 of the cottages was for their daughter and her friend.
Teenagers often leave something for me to find. It’s not always funny or nice.
But this time, I had to smile. As I walked into the cabin to check it out before letting Leah go in to clean it, I found 2 little piles of sand on the dining table.
I almost wiped them off the table …
