We’ve had some little fellows here from Great Britain. England to be exact. This was their second visit at the Wayfarer. They are 11 and 8 years old and REAL boys. One morning they decided, with their dad, to build a “cabin” at the end of the driveway.
Dad had to collect the building materials, the boys kept me at bay with bow & arrow and a sword 😉
They even managed to get a sleeping bag in there…
Looks more like a Beaver Lodge sans pond! Who checked the little gents for ticks and mites after thrashing about in that dry/dead brush? Perhaps they could engage the services of an Irish carpenter to fashion them a more comfortable club house. But they get an A for effort and persistence!
I guess you’re right, Pat. Beaver Lodge is perfect.
Dont you know in their minds it was absolutely perfect…who are we to judge ? The important thing they have a memory of a great day with their dad in Michigan. We should all be so lucky…..
OH I know. Those 3 had the time of their lives. They were so proud, posting for the pictures. They came to the house to make me come over there and see what they had done. It was precious
