Today I was on a mission – to get in the car, drive along the shortest highway in Michigan, Highway 168, and go to the Trick Dog for some R&R before the summer is in full swing. I had not had a chance to go up there all year.
It looked as good as ever; I took Mike along for a Father’s Day lemonade 🙂
Below at the Elberta Waterfront Park, cleanup was going on from the Solstice Festival yesterday and out on the water there were a couple of really beautiful sail boats…
The swim instructor is still here doing his job
There is a new employee: the Trick Dog Greeter! She’s giving out Wayfarer brochures, among others. Yay
And then it was back to the grindstone
Love the Trick Dog!
Well, come up and go
We’re working on it…..
Madonna is the new greeter! I recongnize the bustier!
hehe, I do believe that you are correct.
Heehee, I thought it was Madonna too.
Can’t wait to get back to see the Trick Dog. You have been awfully busy lately Miss Iris!
Yes busy and need some distraction from busy. Come and visit
Iris, Just talked with Josh and he said that it was a great weekend with alot of people in attendance for the Solstice Fest. Oh, and the fireworks were good to, I hope you all agree. Hope to see you soon. Kay & Sammy
It was busy but I did not wait for the fireworks, the Wayfarer was calling and so we left after spilling and swilling mead in the Biergarten around 9:30.
I have heard nothing but good things about the fireworks – as expected 🙂
The fireworks were spectacular. I have never been disappointed with them…ever. The weather was great, enough cloud cover to really show the beautiful colors. It seemed to me that there were quite a few new designs this year, they were great as always. Sorry I won’t be there to see them again on the 4th…
