Vacations are essential!
I have had guests here (not this week) that have brought their lap tops, blackberries, and what nots, to do “a little work” or to “check in”, it makes me sad. This week’s guests have been here often enough to know not to do that. We had aperitifs with a bunch of them yesterday afternoon. Most of our guests bring a book and relax. They sit around and visit with the family or talk to the people next door to them.
It is amazing how much fun you can have – the things you can learn. Don’t run from museum to art show unless you really want to. Go and have a spa day right here in Elberta or at Crystal Mountain’s new Spa. Nothing wrong with being a vegetable for a week. It’s good for the soul.
