Today was Donna’s birthday. She is fairly new in town. A retired teacher, she and her husband moved here to their house on Crystal Lake for good 2 years ago. Boredom brought her to the Chamber of Commerce in Frankfort and they put her to work as soon as they saw her coming. Good thing because she’s a treasure.
Donna being silly
Katie who just got a new job. Look how happy she looks
Joanne with her smashing new haircut
Sue McNeal (left) who, together with her husband, owns the Total station in town
And Hallie Christian who, together with her husband, owns Dinghy’s Restaurant
So there we are at Fusion again, eating some good stuff and this time I took pictures
looks like sweet and sour
something with loads of almonds
hot, hot, hot soup
noodles. Everything was excellent. We had a great time and giggled a lot
The view out the window at Fusion. It was a miserable day. So much rain and so much more in the forecast. Yes, I know we need it, but we’ve about had our fill of bad weather, really.
On my way home, just across the bridge in Elberta, I spotted these guys and had to stop to get a picture of them.
