Shelley from Arizona and her mom Pat, who works at Walenta’s one day a week and won’t let me take her picture, came to see me yesterday.

Shelley and the Benzie Chicks They are very pretty with shiny, speckled “feathers”
They are so cute. We need names. Stretch your brains gentle readers, we need names.
If anyone has a good recipe for making pickles into pickles, please post it here so that I can send it to Katie, who is my pickler. Heehee…pickler, pickle producer, pickle queen
Cute chickens!
I’m voting for Henrietta and Hortense.
Hey now! those are great chicken names. They will go on the top of the list. Let’s see if anyone else would like to weigh in before we make it official.
Since when have you been blogging? I am going there now to read
Thanks for stopping by. I’m sure I’ll be able to keep it up, but I’m trying.
This chicken and duck thing is getting totally OUT OF CONTROL!!! They are going to be running amok all over the place! How about Colonel and Sanders?
Janice, you’re thinking about cooking chickens. Not good! Control yourself. Are you so busy packing up the house that you haven’t had a decent dinner lately?
You have no idea how right you are…I am dying for a good meal, instead of standing at the counter eating some crackers and cheese. Hmm – some chicken would taste good right now…
All I have to say is “stay away from my chickens” toots (insert *glare* smiley)
Since they are “Benzie Chicks”, how about Crystal and Betsie?
Oh, Allirealla is out, Crystal and Betsie are in! I love your thinking
Hey! I was robbed.
heehee, sorry….Crystal is for Crystal Lake and Betsie is for Betsie Bay. It makes too much sense.
Whoo-hoo!!!!
These things keep multiplying like rabbits…… but they are chickens…. well at least they are not lawn ornaments that have to be mowed around………….
Hey, hey, hey! I think you should count yourself pretty lucky for not having to accommodate real chickens. You’d be the one that would have to build the chicken coop, get the chickens, get the eggs, etc.
Oh and lets not forget the stinking chicken poop that goes along with live chickens. Blech!!
yeah and what the eggs look like when they are first laid
I collect real cats and dogs out here in AZ and they cost $$$$ Mike!
Wait until he sees this, heehee
